Shouldn't we be discussing this by now? 🙂
Anyone know about Cadan's injury?

It would be nice to see Wallace on the bench before he goes, but
guess there's no room for sentiment in such a tight league

Also be nice to see Jarrod back. Think Marcus overplayed a bit
last time out and we didn’t have a clear alternative. Do we
know how bad his knock was?

I doubt we will see many changes to the Bath side, although
perhaps if Will Evans is fit I'd have him at 7 with James
starting at 6. I'd also happily start Jarrod over Marcus if he
is fit. I think Marcus - whilst is still producing moments of
brilliance - is trying too hard, which is having a negative
impact on those around him. Porter/Evans I think we would get
better control than the present DC/Smith combo.

Jarrod won’t be back for a while

That’s annoying. Seemed innocuous at the time. Wonder if we
will see the dreaded 6-2 split again.

I don't think there's any need to do anything unusual, like a
6-2 split. Since they squeezed past us in the first game they've
only beaten Newcastle and had a couple of close losses. They've
also been thumped a few times.

Hope you’re right. 6-2 feels like worrying about the oppo more
than playing to our strengths. Is it my failing memory or was
there a time we played without a recognised 9 for a few games?

Chis deserves to start again after a strong showing against
Bath.
The bench split will be interesting. I assumed we went 6-2 last
week to match the power of the Bath pack. On reflection, I
wonder if the coaches don't trust Edwards to run a game and with
Jev out (plus a number of other backs) they're happy to run the
risk of not having a recognised back-up 10 and see an extra
forward as adding more value.

Rather see Slevin as FH back up than Edwards
