Reid was on his feet. But by my eye there was no release and his
elbow hit the ground before he got on the ball, so really should
have been a Quins pen.

Luke Pearce is coaching Bath out of conceding any penalties
today. To say ‘don’t milk it 9’ and then reward him milking it
is mad.

Fun fast half. Great attacking intent from both sides.
Bath making less errors. We've been a bit sloppy at times under
the high ball and with some loose kicking.
Pearce has been fine. Has got all the big decisions right. The
Esterhuizen "high tackle" call was hugely frustrating but win
some lose some.
Good first half from Chis justifying his selection.

Love the TNT hype train sat in Bath these days. Whoever is
flavour of the month gets commentated on as if they're peak
2010s All Blacks.

It was “hugely frustrating” because it was an appalling
decision. Like a few of the others.

Watching the halftime analysis you'd think we were bottom of the
table and bath were 20 points up with 75% possession.

Agreed - and it was clear that Andre had grabbed at the shirt
from the real time wide shot on my mother in law’s 32 inch tv,
so no idea why Pearce couldn’t have seen the same.

Launch bury has been everywhere, first to every clearout. Chis
also superb. Dommers and ccs have been a bit lacklustre for me.
