Jack Walker will make his 50th Harlequins appearance as the
Londoners travel to Bath Rugby on Saturday for round nine of the
Gallagher Premiership (KO 15:05 – live on TNT Sports).
The hooker, who joined Quins from Bath in 2021, has been named
in a reshuffled squad for Saturday’s top four clash, with
Stephan Lewies and George Hammond returning from injury, and
Louis Lynagh making his first appearance since November.
The forward pack features two changes following Sunday’s match
with Toulouse. Up-front Joe Marler and Will Collier pack down
with Walker at hooker. Joe Launchbury combines with Lewies at
second-row, Chandler Cunningham-South and James Chisholm start
on the flanks, with Alex Dombrandt captaining the squad from
number eight.
In the backs, Danny Care returns to the starting side to partner
Marcus Smith. Andre Esterhuizen and Will Joseph continue in the
midfield, with Lynagh returning on the left wing alongside Nick
David and Tyrone Green at fullback.
Six forwards and two backs feature amongst the Impact Players.
Sam Riley returns to bolster the front-row depth alongside Fin
Baxter and Dillon Lewis. Irne Herbst joins the returning Hammond
and the rotated Will Evans. Scrum-half Will Porter and utility
Oscar Beard provide cover in the backs.
Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: “We’re excited to get
our Premiership campaign back underway. Bath have been playing
well and The Rec is always a great venue to play at. We're
looking forward to the challenge on Saturday."

That's a hefty and mobile pack. I hope Joe has a better game
this week.

The 6-2 bench split is interesting. No replacement fly half.
That's also got to be the biggest back 5 we've fielded in many
years.

Great to see Lewies back - hope he goes well.
There was an interesting stat posted by RIL that Russell kicks
the ball far more than any other 10 in the league,
(unsurprisingly Marcus kicks the least ) - our back 3 will need
to be on form.

Should be a cracker. Two teams in pretty decent form. Difficult
to call.
Front rows might decide this one. Du Toit been standout fot Bath
so far this season. Let's hope Marler can get the better of him.
You'd like to think a backrow of Chis, Dommers and CCS gets us
some serious go-forward.

In an emergency, Andre can play at F-H if needed. I would love
to see him charging straight at Finn Russell !!!!!

Will be a tough game and everyone will need to be at their best
to get something out of this game. Realistically, 2 LBB would be
a good result.

Surprised Lewies goes straight back in to start. No warm up game
for Scottish or coming off the bench. He's looked very unfit
when doing that before. Hope he goes well
Decent team. Hopefully they make a good account of themselves
