Yes absolutely Deadly. It is essentially a one way bet for the
owners. I don't suspect for one minute that the overall group
ownership is in anyway a bad thing for them financially, if they
own the ground outside of the rugby club.

There are better ways to make money from land than pouring a
couple of million quid a year into a rugby club.
Group structures in club ownership are there to separate the
ground from the club, so that if the club goes under the owner
doesn’t lose control of the ground.

I haven't had a chance to look through the accounts. Does it
show how much the club pays to use the ground, if anything?

i wonder what it costs to run a ladies full time team and what
returns they get from that ? the reason i ask is , not
all prem teams do run a ladies team and i wonder why

sorry i ask a genuine question about ladies team and get accused
of trolling?? i have looked the accounts from top to bottom and
it appears to be mentioned nowhere ? i wonder what bar takings
and how food outlets fare on match days .

I think so. At least there's a Guardian article from March which
says it's supposed to be £190,000 this season but I don't know
how it turned out.

It would have taken seconds to find out that Loughborough are
Northampton's de facto women's team, and Hartpury likewise for
Gloucester, leaving only Newcastle without one.
