       Harlequins Gilbert Ball
   DIR By: Everyones a Quinner

Hi all. Hope all are keeping well. Shame about the game today.
Hopefully can get something from the return fixture.
I’m hoping someone can help, I am hoping to pick up a Harlequins
Gilbert Ball, the traditional design rather than the other ones.
Does anyone know of the club shop still sells them? And if the
Quins club shop at The Stoop will be open on the day of the Big
Game? Considering the game is at HQ I’m unsure if The Stoop shop
would be open. I couldn’t see anything regarding if it is/isn’t
scheduled to be open on that day.
Unless anyone here has one they would like to sell or get rid of
       that I can pay for.
       Many thanks
Edit* Should have been clearly, by return fixture I meant the
next time we find ourselves back playing away at their gaff. But
also yes I do miss the old format of Home/Away games against the
same teams in the group stages.

Regarding the shop, it's usually open before Big Game.

But like the shirts, the ball might not be the correct size...

Thank you eggnog88 never sleep & fearless fred much appreciated.
The replica one from the first link is the one I’m after
       👍🏽
I’ll check with the shop on the day of the Big Game and then if
out of stock I can then order online with Gilbert instead
       😁

Sadly the current European structure doesn't have return
fixtures! Am I alone in finding that lessens the enjoyment?

Not at all. I used to like the challenge of the back to back
weekends, and particularly when we beat Stade at Stade de
France, and then beat them again at the Stoop the following week
       with NEv's drop goal.

I also think the structure undermines the credibility of the
       competition.

Do you find you're still getting nervous watching that, even
       though you know the outcome?
I was also thinking "I don't envy Nigel Owens having to try and
tell those two kits apart", and also reflecting on the fact that
Nev didn't just kick the goal, he also made up most of the
ground to get it within kicking range on his tod! [emoji3]
