Gutted about that result. Really felt like we could have won
beforehand given the Racing Away result and form
16 man Toulouse played a blinder. In all seriousness though,
well done Toulouse and looking forward to the away fixture. We
always seem to show up away at France, either pulling off great
wins or putting up a great battle. Only positives to take from
this game is the ever improving match day experience, the new
Quins Pride Shirt, Dino coming round eventually (hoping he’s ok
and it’s not too serious). Also hope Caden is ok.
I don’t like berating referees too much or their decision
making, especially with so much unsavoury heat being put on them
at the moment. But I do hope the refereeing surrounding Dino’s
injury gets looked into. The outcome of that was a travesty.
By return fixture I don’t mean this campaign. I mean when we
visit them in the future in search of a vengeful result

Toulouse's attack was brilliant today and their tries were
superbly worked.
But it's easy to look good in defence when the ref allows you to
be offside, compete at the breakdown when off feet and make high
tackles with impunity.

I meant that not in terms of this campaign but in a future one

Better team won. They will be very close to winning it. Probably
sums up where we are (good side but not at that top level). Not
the refs fault. It's the level we need to push to

It will be a tough turn around for Bath.They looked exhausted at
the end. Two hard games on the bounce

Couldn’t agree more. Good team on our day but not up to the
level it requires to win the thing, as you say. Certainly not
his fault but the decision behind that tackle and the result of
which should be better explained, or looked into (not in terms
of berating the referee but in terms of better learning in the
future).

I don't have any particular complaint about the reffing. The
card could have been red or yellow - I can see both sides.
Certainly not intentional, if terrible technique. Otherwise the
ref was pretty consistent: Toulouse just played him better.
These are the games you have to play to improve. If Quins are
ever to win the tournament (which I'd love to see) then you need
to play the best and learn. It took Munster years until they
reached the summit for example.

yes. When you are against a team that good you can't hide a
player.
