Didn't think Ramos would be cited. It's a cheap shot but only
yellow.
Amazed the high tackle didn't get upgraded though. They really
are not at all concerned with removing high tackles from the
game. It's not going to help their case in the ongoing law suit
when the claimants can point to ample evidence that head contact
is still not being punished properly.

The lawsuit isn't about the correct punishment of head contact.

I realise that, and not necessarily suing the same body. But not

Thanks for the link an that's the best commentary I've read on
the litigation.
My guess - and I have no empirical basis for this view, like
much of what's out there in cyberspace - is that those claimants
who can show that training seriously over exposed them to damage
are likely to get something out of this; whereas, those whose
damage is referable to game time damage are less likely to
succeed.

There are other factors that can directly contribute to cte or
dementia. Alcohol, stress, sleep disorders, immune system
issues, etc
As Brian Moore says, the case needs to be heard and proven first
before we can all move on.
