Well it’s not really like that, no. But I appreciate I could be
wrong on this. That’s just my interpretation. Like I say, it
seems common sense to me, but rugby has often lacked common
sense, so maybe the rules don’t allow for what I see to be the
       common sense approach.

Isn’t there an extra dimension to this, namely that none on this
took place on a grass pitch. CCS’s head was in direct contact
with a tarmac path which significantly increased the risk of
       serious injury.

Careful FishQuin, quoting common sense will make you no friends
       on here :-)
My leveller is always, if it we're a Quins player as the
aggressor, what would my reaction be? And I have to say, I'd be
telling my daughter that that should be a red. It's not the 80s
anymore and you can't shove any appendage into someone's throat
and had it been the other way around, I would have expected the
       citing to come afterwards.
Nice bit of karma at the end of the game with Joseph putting
       Hill on his backside though

That was a fun moment, wasn't it? I've been impressed with
Joseph. He hasn't shown the crazy loose ball skills that Nacho
has (but the again, who else could?), but he's slotted into the
team really nicely. There's something in the efficiency of his
lines that reminds me of George Lowe, which is not a bad thing
       at all.

I’d be seriously peeved if a Quins player saw red for that - I
think a yellow would have been reasonable but never a red in my
book. It reminds me a lot of the Esterhuizen red for the shove
on Curtis Rona where his forearm brushed his cheek - which
should never have been a red either.

The handbags, I'd agree but not forearms or elbow's to throats.
       That is not on

Think a yellow would have been the correct outcome. Unpleasant
but still essentially handbags. Yes, it could have been
dangerous but ultimately it wasn't. Went a bit too far, ten mins
to cool off but a red would be an overreaction

On a less important question, shouldn't Hill at least be charged
for the repairs to the hoarding? He pretty much caused them to
       become broken!
