No, sorry - Sanderson has constantly said this about Quins, that
we "over celebrate" and like to really let teams know when we're
doing well, which is the height of hypocrisy given the teams
he's been involved with. It's nothing to do with whether we're
good or not or how we're playing, he is 100% accusing Quins
players of gloating. If you'd watched the interview it'd be more
obvious.

Before we beat them last season he was having a pop at us in the
pre-match interviews, too. He really doesn't like us.

Sorry Yareet, I must admit I never thought we'd give Sale such a
thumping. I was more than a bit in trepidation that it would be

Yeah - he has history - and at the end of a game when having
received a 5-0 try drubbing, you might be tempted to add a few
artistic barbs in for effect.
But he said, with forthright honesty, "I thought Harlequins were
brilliant tonight, they beat us in every area barring the scrum,
so they were deserving of that victory."
I can't fault that.

I’m not sure what the number of legs have to do with it - he was
lifted past the horizontal and would have landed on his head if
he hadn’t had an arm out. Elia Elia was carded for a similar
tackle (albeit one that was also late) in 2021, for instance.

Great win last night and no doubt about our physicality.
Couldn’t give a monkeys about Sanderson and his silly vendetta.
Bloke needs to get over it. I f he doesn’t, he’ll keep giving
interviews that make him sound unhinged.
