If I had to guess, it's something more serious than online
criticism, that has seriously impacted him and his family. A

Yeah? OK. I must have missed that conversation.
This was what was said via Saracens (Farrell hasn't directly
commented himself):

Unless the rest of the statement was written in magic ink,
there's no information whatsoever as to the cause of the damage
to him and his family's mental well-being. Which is what this
discussion has been about. I am taking him at his word - I do
believe he's doing this for his and his family's mental
well-being. I believe something more serious than online
criticism and abuse (a potential reason floated on the internet
by many people making guesses) happened to him/his family in
order for him to feel like he has to take this step for his and
their sakes, given how much playing for England obviously means
to him. It is extremely strange that you do not understand this
simple logic and that you are continuing to try and find any
angle at all to attack me.
It seems obvious you either misread my opening post & are
unwilling to backtrack, or are simply just here for a fight.
Regardless, it's tiresome. You should probably stop.
