Harlequins have named its matchday squad for Sunday's Gallagher
Premiership fixture against Exeter Chiefs at The Stoop (KO
15:00).
The Starting XV features just one change following last week's
29-28 defeat to Gloucester, with Jarrod Evans named to make his
first start for Quins at fly-half.
The forward pack remains unchanged following a strong
performance at Kingsholm. Up-front Fin Baxter and Will Collier
pack down alongside hooker Sam Riley. Joe Launchbury and George
Hammond continue at second-row, with Jack Kenningham and Will
Evans on the flanks. Alex Dombrandt leads the squad from number
eight.
In the backs, Will Porter forms a new halves pairing with
playmaker Jarrod Evans. Luke Northmore and Will Joseph maintain
their centre partnership, with Louis Lynagh, Tyrone Green and
Nick David combining across the back three.
Amongst the Impact Players, there's a return for prop Simon
Kerrod who makes his first Premiership appearance since April.
There's also a return for Dino Lamb following his Rugby World
Cup campaign with Italy. The second-row played pool matches
against Namibia, Uruguay and New Zealand.
Director of Rugby Billy Millard commented: "We've had a good
week of training. The squad were disappointed by last week's
defeat and have worked hard to ensure we're ready to respond.
Exeter are another good challenge, they had a good win against
Saracens and will be a strong opponent. We're looking forward to
returning to a packed Stoop on Sunday and delivering a positive
performance for our supporters."

An unfamiliar looking Exeter side, but one to be wary of given
what they did to Saracens last week.

Thought Beard would have made the starting team. Understandably
both Lynagh and Green still seem pretty rusty imo.

Seems all away teams have now won so far this weekend, so I’d

I thought Lamb might start especially as his surname begins with
the right letter to play 2nd Row for Quins this season -
Launchbury, Lamb, Lewies ? Lammond might get a start

I was at Chiefs' demolition of saracens last week (in-laws have
Chiefs STs) and they were very impressive, but saracens were
dreadful. It's a well balanced team, without a lot of familiar
names, a lot like the Chiefs sides we saw when first promoted
all those years ago. Quite a physically big back five in the
pack, who might tire against a side like us.
Watch out for Cairns at 9, and Hodge at 15. The latter has some
of the Tyrone Green about him.
Hopefully we put on a show, and shut their backs down. Slade ran
the show last week. Big game for Northmore and WillJo required.
