Danny Care on Owen Farrell...

The scrum half Danny Care is squarely behind his captain too,
and believes he is driving this team to success.
“If you’re not on it you’ll know about it from Owen,” he said.
“I’ve played for Owen for ten to 12 years now, his levels never
dip both on the field and off the pitch. Unbelievable person,
unbelievable player. Still think he won’t get the recognition he
properly deserves until he stops playing, which I still find
incredible.
“He’s showing again and again what a wonderful, world-class
player he is. He’s a top bloke. He’s a brilliant human being,
amazing dad, amazing person, amazing friend and I‘m so proud and
pleased to see him back in the shirt leading us the way he does,
which is different to everyone [else].”

Interesting choice of words. Maybe he meant as a captain, but
from everything I've seen it certainly reinforces England IS
Owen. Wouldn't be surprised if he has the final say on
everything.

I wonder if the passage of play where he tried to get yellow
carded for a deliberate knock on when England were trying to
secure the win against Fiji will appear in his highlights video.

Well, there you have it, we're all wrong and England coaches and
team members are right. All those examples of kicking away
possession, dumb tackles and disappearing when England are under
the cosh are just examples of brilliant leadership.
I consider myself schooled.

To be fair, regardless of what aspect of rugby you're
discussing, that is by far the most likely conclusion. 😁
