Scratched off correctly due to head-on-head contact when Jarrod
Evans tackled Clemont a phase before Northmore intercepted.

Real shame for Quins the way it finished. It was a pretty good
first performance, although there were quite a few only vaguely
familiar names in the Gloucester side so maybe we should have
done better.

On paper not a bad result. Not many sides are going to Kingsholm
and coming away with anything. Considering the meltdown after
the Baa Baas game, promising stuff all round

Unfortunately, despite a pretty good showing from Quins, I can't
look at this result as anything other than a missed opportunity.
Fine margins as without the Evans head contact we'd of banked
five points instead of one, but leading up to this felt Dommers
was too conservative with continually taking the three pointers
during a period when we were largely on top.
We gave a game but depleted Gloucester side, who looked devoid
of ideas in open play, easy access to our 22 by just not being
solid enough under the high ball. David, Green and Lynagh all
guilty.
In the plus column, we were pretty fluid ball in hand today and
our maul looked unrecognisable from the last couple of seasons
with Launchbury's involvement. Launchbury, Kenningham and Riley
all excellent today.

Was a bit disappointing that although the try was scratched off,
due to head on head
There was an almost identical head on head in first half and it
was not even a penalty
We were the dominant team for most of the game and even had a
couple of Glaws supporters sat Quins were robbed
The final Glaws try was amazing it was awarded

How can the infield decision be try...when the ball is
buried...no way was visible

I've watched the last try a few times, and CMK signalled the try
even though there were 10 bodies on top of the ball, and the
linesman didn't signal a try either, so the question was why
can't I award...hmmmm . Although it was penalty advantage so who
knows what would have happened.
Still not sure how Porter being flattened wasn't even a penalty.
