Sports clubs that issue cryptocurrency fan tokens risk damaging
their reputations, a group of MPs has warned.
The rise of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and similar assets in
sports and the arts are a concern to the Culture, Media and
Sport committee.

Thanks for sharing. I didn’t buy any tokens when the Quins token
was launched but i did take the free one. I then found 2
Saracens tokens (there is a hunt feature)
I still don't understand the need for this and I certainly
wasn’t going to and will not put any money into buying any
tokens.
If I remember correctly when launched a for Quins, Leicester or
Sarries token would cost £2 via the chiliz crypto currency, it
is now showing as Quins 77p, Leicester 79p, Sarries 76p.

The chiliz was worth about 20p then so presumably a token was
about 10 chiliz. A chiliz is now worth about 4.5p so a Quins fan
token is worth about 17 chiliz! Good news if you live in chiliz
world but not so good if you live in the real one. 😁

Oh, it's very much still a thing. Not one I'd invest in though.
