I paid £50 for the famous semi-final at Twickenham of France vs
New Zealand 1999 RWC. I saw it on ITV the other day in the
reruns they're doing, still can't believe France were 10-24 down
in the second half and came back to win it 43-31!

Truly remarkable there's plenty of tickets available. It's
almost like people can't be bothered to make the relatively
small journey to see a team playing the worst rugby its played
in decades! BUT don't worry, we are being told they WILL use
their "big game experience" so I expect it to be an absolute
pulsating, breathing experience. Farrell beating defenders left
right and centre, mazy runs from May which go sideways but
utterly terrify defenders, Itoje and Earl fist pumps at the
sight of water being brought on, and last but no means least,
Tuilagi looking up to the sky praising God

i consider going, but with nudging £500 for flights and hotel
prices around £250 minimum....turns into a pricey weekend.
I'll be happy watching Quins V Glos

I went to the RWC in 2011and the first game I saw was England v
France. No problem getting a ticket on the gate - about 10,000
seats free.
For the same reason. England were shit.

Can anyone see a few issues here?
Our 1-4 have barely played this tournament, but yes we are
thrusting them all in to start. Also, Willis has returned! Must
have visited Lordes. Word has it the bench includes Iain
Balshaw, Harry Ellis, Charlie Hodgson and Lewis Moody

Classic mind games - play a consistent team across series of
games to build cohesion, then chuck it out the window at a
critical time. It's the last thing that the opposition would
expect.
