       Ridiculous.
Smith is as much an international 15 as I am an anchovy.

This quote from Wigglesworth is sheer class.
--- Quote from: The Guardian ---
       >
       > There is also the possibility that all three fly-halves will
appear together at some point – a prospect that Wigglesworth
confirmed was under consideration following England’s victory
over Japan which took them to the verge of the quarter-finals.
       >
       > “It’s not unthinkable but it is about what else is around
them,” he said. “If we have absolute runners around them and
that is their skill set, we want to upskill as many guides as
possible to see the picture early and be able to execute things.
So I don’t think it is unthinkable, but you have to have a
       balance around them.”
       >
       --- End Quote ---
As others have said, if that's the level of communication then
it's hardly surprising England are playing like they haven't got
       a clue what's going on.

If we have absolute runners around them and that is their skill
set, we want to upskill as many guides as possible to see the
       picture early
What do you mean? Clear as crystal.

Confidently expecting Smith to have an ok game on Saturday and
then dropped for the Samoa game

Agreed, he's unlikely to be exposed against Chile but we could
probably play Marler at fullback and get away with it. I guess
Borthwick sees this as a free hit. He was always going to start
Farrell but gutted Smith won't get a shot to show what he can do
       at 10

I like this from BathMatt53 from Bath COML site
I am happy to translate: "the current players don't have the
skills to pass the ball to the wings so whilst we are teaching
them how to achieve this lofty goal we will be kicking off 9 and
avoiding having to use the backs at any point."

Yes, I saw that, Bod. But it would have been funnier if it bore
       some relation to the quote.
