2nd best at everything and not been too inspired by previous
games.
Are we aiming for top 8 this year?

Disappointing to see us start slowly again today. Its been a
feature of our performances for far too long.
Lacked control and tempo from our half backs today. Real shame
we haven't seen Porter or Jarod Evans so far in pre-season. Not
sure how many more uninspiring Gjaltema performances I can
suffer.
On the plus side Anwanyu and Joseph looked sharp and Tyrone one
step further to proper match fitness.

Really really poor performance. Fringe players really didn’t
step up and take their chances. A few players we definitely
don’t want to be seeing start in the first game of the prem
season back here

Gjaltema was supplying plenty of quick ball in the first half;
sadly no one outside him knew what to do with it.
Complete pigswill of a team performance overall. I thought Riley
was the only one who performed (slightly) above average.

I missed the last 20 minutes of the game.
But, what I saw with the half backs:
I can see Slevin moving up in the pecking order over Edwards.
Gjaltema is probably okay coming on from the bench with 14 good
players around him and a tiring opposition.
I didn't see the new guy, so can't comment on him.

I didn't see the beginning. Tyrone doesn't look sharp
(understandably) and his timing seems off. Maybe he's just
trying too hard.
Attack looked toothless and was mostly easily repelled. Defence
seemed disorganised. No structure and tackles missed. Looked
like players had never played together before.
New scrum half looks good.
