Ccs blowed hot and cold. Improved when lawday came on - even
with the yc. Slevin was my mom. Not sure about Benson. Green was
a little way off being match ready

Green was a long way from Premiership ready. It looked like our
plan was to showcase CCS from the back of the scrum, but
Coventry just waited for him to make contact then fanned out
their defence to deal with our sideways momentum.
We saw old favourites like 'no guard to prevent route one over
the ruck', 'get on the wrong side of the ref and do nothing to
address it' and 'flat kick to wing'. Quite a disappointing
display but Coventry were unflashily effective.

Not having a TMO definitely made it a lot harder for the ref
team today. Both sides had legitimate grippers but Cox, as she
rightly said, only has one pair of eyes, so it was hard for her
to cover everything. Felt our defence actually improved during
the two yellow cards, which helped with getting the draw. Also
felt that Cox could've been stricter with the stop-start nature
of the game. I know there were a number of injuries, but it felt
like a game from 10 years ago with the number of breaks in play
that were allowed to drag out.

BBC isn't showing the scorers. I know there were tries from
Jibulu and Slevin, but who scored the third?

Some serious rustiness from a few guys today plus we came up
against a very spirited Coventry side. Don’t think I’ve seen as
many handling errors in a game for a long time. Our ruck
clearance wasn’t great today at all. Hope CCS’s knock isn’t too
bad.

Quins got sucked in to playing like Coventry, strong runs up the
middle of the pitch, the difference being Quins couldn`t. It
wasn`t until the last 10 minutes that Quins started to move the
ball around and they very nearly pinched an undeserved win in
the last play.130 mile round trip was a long way to go to watch
a very boring and disjointed game, very disappointing.

Just got back from game, not great watching if you were an Quins
fan but let’s remember it’s an entry level game for academy
players and returning players bolstered with some experienced
players , thought we were a bit sluggish to start with and Cov
played us at our own game. The ref wasn’t great but we made so
many unforced errors it was ridiculous. Amazing how we upped our
game with only 13 on the pitch, well done lads. A draw was
probably the right result , well played Cov all the best for the
season. A sad part of the day was that moving from seats in AA
to the south stand to avoid 3rd degree sunburn that we
encountered a fan ???? who continually abused the ref at the top
of his voice, let’s hope he goes back to watching football.

Yeah, there was a guy with a few friends in the south stand that
were not good.
The yellow card against lawday was a yellow all day long. But
the misogyn was hard to cope with
