       Team for Quins v Coventry

Looking towards next Saturday's game v Coventry.
Coventry got a bonus point win against Sarries on Saturday,
Sarries picked a team "with a blend of experience and youth,
with two players ready to wear the Sarries shirt for the very
       first time".
I would say that on paper, the Sarries team selection was
marginally stronger that the team that we put out on Saturday.
So, we may need to strengthen the team a little
       I would suggest:
       Botta + Jibulu + Chawatama
       Launchbury + Jurevicius
       Zach Carr + Trenholm + White [c]
       Murray + Slevin
       Bradley + Hyde
Oscar Beard + Cleaves + Anderson
       Subs
       Musk + Els + Hobson
       Cunningham-South + Lawday
       Gjaltema + Edwards
       Zheng

       Me too N.S.
Weather forecast is not so extreme thankfully.
       I can't fault your team selection at all - I don't recollect
anyone having a bad game v Hartpury, but bringing in Launchbury
       is a good move.

I'm not sure what benefit we would get by repeating the same
team. As a minimum I would switch some of the starters with the
bench, try other in different positions and then call other
names into the squad depending on who needs game time:
       Musk + Els + Hobson
       Launchbury + Hammond
       Zach Carr + White + Cunningham-South
       Gjaltema + Evans
       Anyanwu + Beard
       Anderson + Cleaves + David
       Botta + Jibulu + Chawatama
       Jurevicius
       Alikhan
       Murray
       Slevin
       Joseph

My concern is that the front row may be a little under powered.
But - the backs look very strong. Maybe give Zheng a start over
       David.

Looking at the highlights package, Saracens looked a bit like
England in the warmups - still under a heavy training load. They
were good in the first half but were visibly fading in the
       second.
Coventry look to have a decent maul and a good offloading game
off 12 and a 10 who has an eye for a gap in broken play. But
their defence was quite narrow and both Sarries tries came from
getting the ball along the line before they could drift.
On that basis, I'd like to see Quins beef up the scrum a little
(maybe add Baxter, CCS and Launchbury to the mix?) but also
focus on having players who can get the ball wide and take
advantage of it when they do. I suspect that "get the ball to
Cleaves" would actually be a half decent gameplan for this one.

I doubt that's ever going to be a bad plan 😁

For info - here are the highlights of their last game:

I think that teams like Coventry + Pirates + Nottingham are very
different prospect to teams like Hartpury.
Hartpury were set up to be almost a Gloucester "A" team. So they
have a lot of up an coming players. E.g. Harry Randall played
for them a few years ago.
Coventry are more of a professional team and basically recruit
the best players that they can afford. As a result, you get
players such as Matt Kvesic and a few ex-Worcester players (e.g.
Will Chudley) in the starting 15.
I think that Saturday's game could be close.
       From Hartpury’s website:
"Hartpury’s Rugby Programme began in September 2000 in
partnership with local Aviva Premiership side Gloucester Rugby
       ...
Hartpury University RFC, now a semi-professional side still
featuring a large number of student players and alumni"
       Coventry:
"Coventry Rugby Football Club is a professional rugby union
       club"

I assume that is an artificial pitch? I'd love to have those
markings on all rugby grounds which would help enormously with
       the ball thrown forward officiating.
       pin removed.

It's a freaking nightmare to play on though. Seen too many tries
"scored" on the football goal line... 😡

I think it’s a multi use pitch and these would be used for
       American Football.
