He looks seriously quick. Didn't need to get out of third gear
yesterday.
Attacking-wise he's clearly got it. Will need to see him against
sterner opposition to see if his defensive game is up to it.

Slevin, Cleaves, Bradley, Hyde, Trenholm, Benson, Carr, Anderson
- all looked good. Let's hope their development continues in the
right direction (AND we can keep them !). The future looks
bright if that is so.
Hat's off to players on both sides for putting up a great show
in such conditions - I bet on-field, in the sun, the temperature
was 37C+!!! Very nice to see Hartpury's 2 tries given generous
applause by the crowd (I bet that WON'T happen when we play
Saracens though!). Also, Hartpury made it tougher for us in the
2nd Half too. Well played Hartpury !

PS - great to see Coventry beating Saracens 28-14 yesterday too
! Coventry fielded 2 ex Warriors players Chudley & Kvesic too !

Cleaves is electric. Just as exciting as Arundell is, just
afforded less opportunity. He’s going to score hatfuls this
year.
He Reminds me of Anthony Watson, and there’s a little bit of the
Rupeni Caucaunibuca in the way he runs that is naturally so
balanced.
Slevin is interesting too. We’ve never had a a true utility back
who can play 10, 12, and 15 and kick goals. Offers us a
completely different way of playing if we want to, with two true
distributors, which we don’t typically do as we play with a
larger 12 and counterattacking speedsters at the back.

The full game is available on the premiership website if anyone
is interested.
Agree with comments on Cleaves. The power and acceleration he
generates off his step is remarkable. Pleasing to see him chase
kicks hard and get stuck into the breakdown both in attack and
defence.

Apart from getting to/from the Stoop by SWR, 'all in all' a
great day out, better than I thought.
Tip for those in the queues in the Kings bar, I left the queue,
walked to the pop-up bar behind the south stand and it was
instant as they have skilled bar staff.
