Call me a "one-eyed Quin" if you like, but I would have liked
Danny & Marcus to start, with Mitchell coming on as a genuine
impact player in the 2nd half.

No point starting Marcus if the game plan is one that suits Ford
       more.

The one thing about May though is this. He has always seemed to
be one of the best players to read the bounce of a ball when it
is kicked ahead. (Marchant is also pretty good at it.)
Considering that England's game plan will probably to kick
aimlessly until there is no leather left on the ball, there is a
remote chance that one of the kicked balls will hit a patch of
grass and bounce. In this situation May could come into his own
and catch the ball and score.
I would much rather see wingers like Murley being given a chance
in the team. But, there is little point in picking a player like
       Murley as -
       1. it is rare that a centre will get a ball and pass it to him
       2. I don't think that he is the best player under the high ball
So, pick the players for the game plan (as much as I hate it) -
and, May may be the better option.

Do we think that this is the best team that can be drawn from
       English qualified players? No.
Do we think that this team will do well at this world cup? No.
Do we think that this team will play exciting rugby? No.
Do we think that this team sets us up for the next world cup
       cycle? No.
       Great work Steve.

Wow SONS, hadn't realised that, that is staggering. I always
have time for Lawes but the other two will add no value at all.
Will go into it with the same blind faith as 2011, by remarkable
       coincidence

It would certainly help people who can't discern if something is
off topic just from a simple thread title.

Australia making a very good start and look decent, and plenty
       of tries today overall.
Can’t wait for the bore fest for the England game which will see
us lose 18-20 in a dire affair of kicking and poor handling
       errors whilst being out muscled

If the current England turn up it will be a lot more than a 2
       point defeat.
