Not a fan of Earl at 8, but I guess it's better than Curry.
Under the circumstances it's as good a team as we can put out

Tuilagi's done nothing to earn that shirt over Lawrence, May was
disastrous against Fiji, and Earl had a shocker. Curry has
actual international experience at 8 and while not picking a
backup 8 was one of many, many bad calls with this squad, Curry
has at least done the job there decently before.

Is that teams' cohesion as strong as Fiji's or do they rely on
iPads and ear pods to get in their grove. This spirit, pride and
belief in each other needs to be established

Glad Marchant is finally given a chance after having a decent
run in the side at last.
I would have started Ludlum over a undercooked curry.
Very worried about that back 3.

It seems the best way to enhance your reputation and get picked
for this England team is not to play.
It applies to Curry, May, Mitchell.
If you have played then get picked out of position, Earl, Daly.
Then there are the players whose best days are well behind them,
May, Cole, Tuilagi and sadly Itoje.
We also seem to have four reserve full backs Smith, Daly,
Malins, Arundell although we always pick Steward.

Utter crap. Cole? He hasn’t been up to it for years at this
level.
The main problem is our pack has little gain line winners. Who’s
going to put the hard yards in? Tuilagi offers nothing, and the
back 3 are blunt as an attacking force. I’d have rolled the dice
and given Smith a start at 15 if he wasn’t to be 10 and had
Murley and Radwan on the wings just to give it a real go

How can Mitchell and May be starting when they weren't
considered good enough to make the squad two weeks ago?
Mitchell I'm not too fussed about. May is past it
