Problems with strikes, and now engineering works, hey ho, can't
see myself being able to get to all games as planned. Will keep
an eye out as the week goes along to work out whether I do go or
not. Here's what national rail currently says:
This journey will not run as shown. This service may not run,
may run to a revised timetable, or may be replaced by a bus.

I used the 'bus replacement' to/from Clapham junction in the
past a swore I'd never do it again, ridiculous queues. England v
       Argentina it is then.

For once, the engineering works *don't* affect the Reading to TW
line! Last year I only had one regular journey
Didcot-Reading-Twickenham in the whole season. Every other
journey meant either travelling through Paddington or Marylebone
& an extra hour each way. I'm sorry for those affected, but some
of us have had to cope with it for the last year at a minimum
       already.

Six trains an hour from Clapham Junction to Twickenham in both
directions. Nearly all day as far as I can see.
I appreciate there may be no or reduced services on other lines
but I think we should be OK. Though I will miss my Twickenham to
Wimbledon service on the way home.

Yep, agree Nico. Would love to see jEV & Porter. CCW & Joseph
and Big Joe in the row. And if he's fit, Tyrone to play these as
well. Then splatter with the Anyanwu's, Hydes, Cleeve's &
       Bradley's

So yep, Clapham to Twickers is running, great.......except my
home station to Clapham is not, bloody engineering works! So
I've splashed out £18 on the parking just to get there. Really
didn't want to drive this season coz of the increase in parking
charges, but I have a feeling I'll be having to do it quite a
few times given train strikes and engineering works. Plus of
course dodgy weather will mean a few car journeys. I've already
       paid for parking for BG15.
Hey ho, hope we manage to put out a strong team Saturday, with a
few of the long term injured on the pitch, looking at Lynagh and
Green, and start off with a bang!

I'm sorry, LFC, but some of us have had to put up with similar
for over a year. As I said earlier, I managed just one "normal"
journey to the Stoop last season. Every other trip involved the
extra cost & time of travelling through the "Big Smoke"
(typically an extra hour each way & £10-ish more than usual). I
know it's annoying, but you're hard;y being singled out for
       this.
