Posted by Jack Tunney, who appears to have sat back with a cup
of tea while an AI did all the work, judging by the horrendous
phrasing of that article.

England certainly need a change in style to get the most out of
Smith at 10, and I hope we will see that after the RWC. It would
be insane to persist with Ford and Farrell as the primary
options for another cycle, given both are the wrong side of 30.
I think the article misses the point of him training at
fullback, though. We now know that Watson, Daly and Arundell are
unavailable for the match or the tournament, so having Smith
train there is just a sensible move, given the risk of a card or
an injury.

It occurred to me this morning that when England had a poor RWC
with Robshaw as captain, he received a load of flak.
I wonder if the same will happen to Saint Owen?

No chance. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. Owen
Farrell drives standards. Both on and off the pitch!!! Not
just one or the other Quinky. Both!!! He drives them do you
hear!!! Let that be an end to it.

I consider myself chastised and educated, in one fell swoop!

Couldn’t agree more, he does drive the team. Lift shares to
disciplinary hearings, not only is he red but he’s also green
with his footprint

Owen is, according to the BBC frequently, England's talisman.
Which is ironic because the definition of a talisman is "...a
charm to avert evil and bring good fortune".
He certainly fails on the charm front but does have a fortune.

He doesn't
Borthwick patently does not rate him and only indulges Smith

You seriously think Borthwick only picks Smith so he can enjoy
himself?
