So, I saw a brilliant team, with a pan executing outstanding and
enjoyable rugby to get the nation off of their seats and playing
with absolute gay abandon.
Sadly, I was supporting England!
The fact that the most engaging part in the first half was when
the rain forced those in the front seats to come back and block
our view is beyond a worry.
What really galled though was when the BQ younglings (no
relation to Ben) wanted to go into the shop and look at some
merch. There were no tops below £55, even the older stock and
polo's, all about the WC items which were £65 and above. There
is no end to the way that they wish to fleece us and sadly, not
even Cotton Traders do a plan white England shirt anymore.
Alas, nothing will change because we will all still go
regardless of coach in the Six Nations and we'll still pay over
the top for shirts with a 1 year shelf life.
Maybe we need to be more French?
