I spoke to some people from Wales and some other guys from
somewhere near Leicester - they also paid £10.
So - I think there were lots of options available to get cheaper
tickets

I live 21 miles from Twickenham stadium. I can get precisely one
combination of trains and buses to get there in time in less
than 5 hours. But I can't get back until Sunday.

Can I add
4. England are crap (and more importantly boring crap).

It doesn't matter what people on this board think about whether
it will be one sided or not.
The facts are that England have won all seven times they have
played.
And - here are the odds:
England win - 1/6
Draw - 22/1
Fiji win - 4/1
So - punters think that it will be one sided.

England will win easily and become one of the World Cup
favourites.
And will still be crap.

I don't gamble but they are tempting odds for Fiji the way
England are playing

There are shuttle buses to and from Richmond. And Hounslow East
as well.
There are trains to and from Clapham Junction to Twickenham and
Hounslow, albeit probably only two an hour compared to the usual
service. And I appreciate that it doesn’t help coming in from
Reading or Kingston but there are at least some. I’ll probably
use Hounslow.

40/1 would be nearer.

One has to wonder (Robert Plant moment, sozzz) why the powers
that be feel they can charge ANYTHING to watch pointless
Training Matches against other Teams also experimenting. Its a
bit like committing to a Club ST when you know that all the best
players are only going to play about 4 matches all season.
Oh.
