This part made me smile:

They use it as a way to build themselves up for the challenge,
apparently
You have to wonder why you wouldn’t be pumped up enough already
when playing for your club/country

All good. I suspect they're resting him as he's had a few
injuries, and they know what they get anyway - the world's best
lock 😉 It also gives an opportunity to others to stake a
claim.

Don't worry. England will scrape through to the semi finals, and
there will be back slapping and bonuses all round at the
achievement of being among the "top four" in the world. The RFU
will be congratulating themselves at how smart they must be to
have over-performed and everyone will stay in place as a result.

That's ambitious! The Argies I think should start as favorites
in my view. Japan will be a tough one too.

Even if we lose to Argentina, I think it's very unlikely we'll
lose to Japan. We'd then face Wales or Australia and again, we
should be able to beat them

I'm more worried about Samoa than Japan at the moment. Japan
have lost to Fiji (reasonably heavily) and Samoa (narrowly) at
home recently and narrowly beat Tonga, so not the greatest of
form.
I'm actually really worried for the weekend at the moment.
