but knock ins and rubbish from Daly.

No, they played a negative game plan. Smith put players into
gaps a few times. Neither of them played like drains and neither
made tons of errors.
Farrell wasn't mentioned. You're fighting with your own
reflection again.

So it makes no difference which 10 starts for England - whoever
it is, it's Borthwick's gameplan that is the problem.

The sequence leading up to arundells yellow was just hilariously
dire.
JVP goes down injured, so no nine. Marchant fills in, leaving
Arundell on his own. Farrell, for some reason sees fit to kick
it to Arundell on his own, and wales draw the penalty.
Unbelievably bad situational rugby. Good teams don’t do that.

If he persists with that game plan, it is the primary problem.
Of course, if players make mistakes, then that shouldn't be
ignored.
We're seeing another dire performance with the ball today, which
is very worrying given it's essentially Borthwick's preferred
team, injuries aside, against Welsh bin juice. I still expect us
to win because our defence should be better, our set piece
should be better, and Wales will not defend as well as last
week, but it's another dreadful sign for the world cup.

All those Saracens players are certainly making England a
winning team with their open running play. Superb skill and
execution. Can’t argue with Englands win ratio with them in the
team and SBs game plan. At least if we played the way Saints,
Quins, Bears, Glaws do it would be entertaining when we lost.

He started well but since then his kicks have been unsuccessful,
one led to the yellow (really really dumb by Arundell) and with
penalty advantage in their 22 he lumbered into contact and lost
the ball.
He's far from England's biggest problem and has done some good
things. I expect a much better second half though, as famously
he drives standards and lifts those around him. He won't want
England to meander through the second half and he's right.
