Not just Twickenham, the final round is in Spain. Is this old
news, and I’m just behind the times (which is normal). I’m sure
some local residents will be happy.

Looking at the fixtures, the only traditional "big" rugby
countries left is Australia and South Africa.
Looks like focus is going on the nations where rugby is not as
established.

Looks to me like the focus is on heat and sunshine. Except for
Vancouver in February which will have neither.

Actually they've cut it from 16 to 12 teams and from 11 to 8
events. Someone has to miss out and that will be England,
France, NZ and Hong Kong (2 events down to 1). So, they like the
winter break in Canada!
I don't know what attendances were like elsewhere but Twickenham
only attracted 76,000 over 2 days.
