Does Murley qualify to play for other countries?
I have some recollection that he grew up on British military
bases in Germany. So, I wonder whether he could in fact play for
any home nation (similar to players from the Channel Islands.)
If so, then there may be some possibility that he may be put on
the bench for a game just to lock him into playing for England.

I would imagine at his age, and having spent so much time in
England camps this past year, he won't be thinking at all about
playing for any other country even if he's qualified.

Would depend if he was born in Germany or not really. Forces
children born there are registered with the British Embassy and
become British citizens. Think that may differ if one parent is
German then can register with either or have dual nationality.
My two sons were both born in Osnabruk and have British birth
certificates don’t think they break down English/Welsh etc which
is why some parents went home for the birth.

Sorry but what treatment of Cadan?
He's been released from a training camp. By design not all the
players in the initial camp will make the final cut. As far as I
am aware, no reason has been made public as to why he was let go
but I'd hope that Cadan has been told.
He has subsequently been called back. Again no reason seems to
have publicly been given but it's not beyond reason for somebody
to have tweaked a hammy and for cover to now be needed.
Much as many of us would like all of the star players from our
teams to make their relevant World Cup squads, that can't
happen. If nothing else, Cadan's recall has shown that he isn't
completely out of Borthwick's thinking.

I still think it's strange how Rodd and Murley were moved out
and then back into the squad, and necessitated official
announcements. If injury tweaks were involved then surely they
could have kept them in camp and brought in cover or at least
mentioned something as innocuous as a tweak.

I suspect different people have different definitions of
"released from the squad".
It seems pretty clear that even if a player has been released to
return home he hasn't been dropped from the RWC squad for the
simple reason that the RWC squad hasn't been announced. With the
possibility of injury in training or warm-up games the make-up
of the squad is far from settled despite the more sensational
claims in the media or elsewhere.

I fear I may not have been clear. I was hypothesising that Cadan
(and Bev) had been let go and then another player has a small
injury necessitating recalls
This hypothetical injury need not be much - perhaps just a touch
of a cold - but enough to make him unable to train at 100% and a
possible doubt for Saturday. I can envisage a recall for Cadan
under those circumstances.

Andre makes more breaks and metres in most games that Farrell
has in any season.

By the sounds of it, we are getting Murley and maybe Dombrandt
back.
If rumours are true, they’re taking vunipola as the only
specialist 8 with Ludlam deputising.

That would be consistent with Jones and now Borthwick's strategy
of preferring players who can be equally poor in several
positions
