I don’t think it’s just a Castore thing. Pretty sure things were
just as bad with Adidas. It’s more the approach the club has
decided to take, ie minimal, let the shirt provider supply what
they can and that’s it. For the last two years I’ve looked out
for a Quins jacket in autumn/winter but nada. Likewise the lack
of hats last year.

In my view, there's not enough use of the bright Quins colours.
For example, I don't want a navy blue hat with Harlequins
written round the edge - I want a brightly coloured hat in Quins
colours.

There obviously is money in merch. Just look at the Adidas/Man U
deal for example.

There is a slight difference between Quins and Man U of course
but that's not to say that Quins couldn't make more money from
it if it was properly organised.

I spend a lot of time wondering if a lot of people on here are
some kind of different species.
Of course there’s nothing available - the season is over and
they had a massive sale to get rid of last season’s kit.
They’ve only launched the home shirt so far - it’s August 1.
Season starts in mid October.
When they launch the new training kit etc etc it’ll all be
available - likewise the fan/casual kit etc.
Think the Castore stuff has been excellent so far and v good
quality

I just find it crazy! Look at Leicester tigers shop/Northampton
saints and Exeter! They have so much stuff and at reasonable
prices. Also interesting that Bath and Lienster are also with
Castore and they have training gear available and mean wile
Quins aren't showing anything....
I don't think this is just a Castore thing like people have
said, Adidas were poor on their supporters range and I just
don't think Quins really care to make money in the shop which is
madness!

The shop probably sell more during the half time period on a
match day than they sell during the entire off season.
I'm not sure that judging the club's merchandising strategy by
looking at what is available online on the 1st August is very
accurate

If I knew how to (sorry had to shoot my techy butler for
trespassing on my favourite Chamber Maid) I'd post pictures of
my favourite Quins merch over the years. This would include the
jester hat, the cycling shirt, the long sleeved cotton home
shirt, quins gloves, etc

These new-fangled sports apparel suppliers don't spend
enough/any time talking to their customers. If they did, they'd
realise that many (most?) people would rather have a Quins
replica jersey in either short/long sleeves made out of
traditional cotton. Not polywhateveritsname. Made to the correct
size (not 2 or 3 sizes smaller) and made as a reasonable cost
(~£60/70 - if well made, then these will last, like Ellis Rugby
shirts do).
But none of the new-fangled apparel suppliers appear to know
anything about cotton and force these ez-print things on us.
I have complained but no-one appears to listen/care.
