Darcy Graham had his first Scotland cap in his second
professional season at the age of 21, and apart from the 2023 6N
where he was injured is a regular in the Scotland side now.
Cadan, like Marcus, would have had a bundle of caps if he was
picked on form by England rather than EJ and now it appears SB,
picking their favourites.
Graham is not the biggest winger in the game, in fact he is
known as Wee Darcy for a reason, and is picked for his ability
to take on defences and score. Not as appears to be the case for
England where high kick defence is prioritised over attacking
skill. Mind you why Daly was ever picked at full back or wing
when his ability under the high ball is poor, only EJ will know.

'Target fixation' concerning all things Saracens, perhaps ...?

Thanks BB. This is exactly my thoughts. We don't know.

Given the timing, I reckon it was Borthwick giving him a
surprise birthday party, and they only wanted him out of camp
last week so they could blow up all the balloons and hang the
streamers in secret.

If Murley was Scottish he might have been picked earlier, injury
allowing. It's pure speculation of course, as is your statement
that he would have a bundle of caps for England if only they had
selected him.
No coach picks purely on club form.

Might have been a bit difficult if he had remained after he was
told to go!
