Well, it's saying that it's not a reason to drop him from the
squad.

I’ve watched Cadan run rings round a lot of the current England
squad in the league, if SB still thinks he is not good enough
then does SB think other countries defences are better than
Englands

That's not the same thing, though. All top tier international
defences should be better than any Premiership team's.

Yeh I get that, Cadan is premiership top try scorer yet other
players chosen in the squad seem to have grandad rights for
their place in the squad, it doesn’t feel right that a player
who has beaten the best players in the premiership not to get a
chance to see what he can do against the best in the world. Who
in the squad is better than him at the moment ? Malians I agree
with, but Daly - is a has been but has experience, May -is a has
been but has experience. Arundel - could be extraordinary, but
there should be room for Murley. To me it looks like SB is still
on the phone to Eddie.

Cadan has done everything asked of him, and he can only show
what he can do in the games he's given. OHC was given the 6
nations and did absolutely nothing, Cadan at the very least
deserved to start in the warm up games. Being out at the expense
of May/Big Joe C is just madness.
It's not even rose tinted glasses either, the bulk of comments
from rugby fans in general seem to support this.

So what? How many rugby fans attended the training sessions. I'm
surprised he hasn't had a chance but this isn't the first time
he's not been given a chance. There will be a reason.
If all the players whom punters think 'deserve a chance' were
picked we'd be putting a different team out each match.

I think that some players look great when playing with their own
team mates for their club, but their club form doesn't translate
when they need to play with 14 different players.
Rugby is a team game - to get selected for the national team,
they need to demonstrate that they are as good with unfamiliar
players as they are with their own team mates.
Maybe this is where Cadan lets himself down.

Absolutely! But who knows what the issue is with Murley? He's
certainly not the only player that coaches have been reluctant
to pick. Sometimes players miss selection under successive
coaches which suggests there may be some flaw that isn't obvious
at club level.
I wonder to what extent Murley has suffered due to the short
time Borthwick has had to assemble his squad. If he'd had an
autumn series or a summer tour maybe things would be different.

The most likely answer around Murley is around kicking and kick
chase: he's not the tallest winger, and he doesn't really kick
for Quins. At international level, kicking is a bigger part of
the game and the players who've been retained all have a better
kicking game than he has.

Or alternately if we played them all at the same time we might
actually look like winning a game or two.
