My Mizuno (free to members) has lasted 27 years. 😉

My 32 year old red star shirt is a bit frayed at the cuffs.
       😉

I congratulate you for maintaining your fighting weight for 32

Is there a possibility that the shirt hasn’t been worn for 30
       years due to “shrinkage”?

It has been worn, though. But I'll use the shrinkage theory for
       mine!

My view is that washing machines are getting worse and worse and
worse as I get older as more and more of my clothes are
shrinking. It's really disappointing, as with advances in
technology in so many areas of our lives it's a surprise that
washing machines are moving backwards and not forwards.

some of the kits, especially last years. Hopefully Joe will be
happy with this one. I prefer black shorts with the hooped
socks. I’m partial to a hooped sock.

My recollection, and that's not the exact science it was once,
is that NEC felt their logo was more visible with that colour
       switch.

training shirt which was spoiled by a large white ‘CSF’ logo on
the chest. Thankfully the badge was also cotton with a stiff
back and I was able to unstitch it with a bit of care. I still
have that shirt and love it. The cotton ones were so much better
than the current offerings IMO. Although supposedly technically
advanced for ‘sweat-wicking’ and the like, I find that the newer
fabrics always have a bit of a cheap feel for me and I do wonder
what the profit margin on £70 will be. Needless to say I’m
unlikely to part with my cash for this one.

As DOK once memorably said, the CSF logo patches were so
substantial they could stop a bullet.
