A lot of men (me included) are blue/black colour blind. So, I
can't usually tell the difference between navy and black unless
I concentrate and look very carefully.
In fact, for years, I thought that Scotland played in black.

...how did that go out of interest? Obvious ghost patch

If you can see it if you look carefully, doesn't that mean
you're not colourblind at all? 😆 Just lazy. Doing a 'man
look' as my wife would say.

It was pretty good.
It needed some patience. Basically, I used a warm iron and left
it in place for a while. Then peeled all what I could. Then
repeated.
Once removed, the shirt looked fine - there was no discoloration
underneath.
But, there were a few annoying spots where there must have been
extra glue and bits remained stuck. Mainly at the sides /
corners. Every time that the shirt came out of the wash, I
managed to peel a bit more off.
But - the shirt was a few seasons old when I did this - and, I
was considering buying a new one. So, I wasn't too worried if it
went wrong.
Unfortunately - I don't have the shirt any more - so I can't
post a photo. My son borrowed it (and my bike) and was knocked
off the bike by a learner driver in Ranelagh Drive in St
Margaret's next to the river and the paramedics needed to cut
the shirt off :-( -- So, I got a new shirt with the insurance
cash.

My memory of the kit when I started supporting Quins, back in
the late 80s, was the quarters with green/black "quartered"
sleeves, I think? Shorts were white, socks were hooped. There
was no "away" kit, as nobody else had a kit even close to ours

I like this one but not at £70. I’m glad they’ve gone for a
simple round neck. I’ve not liked the way the collar has been on
some of the kits, especially last years. Hopefully Joe will be
happy with this one. I prefer black shorts with the hooped
socks. I’m partial to a hooped sock.
I’ve got a shirt from years ago, Cotton Traders NEC
Harlequins of London, where the quarters are a different way
round. The blue and grey are swapped for some reason.

In the early-mid 2000s I had a lovely dark blue, heavy cotton
training shirt which was spoiled by a large white ‘CSF’ logo on
the chest. Thankfully the badge was also cotton with a stiff
back and I was able to unstitch it with a bit of care. I still
have that shirt and love it. The cotton ones were so much better
than the current offerings IMO. Although supposedly technically
advanced for ‘sweat-wicking’ and the like, I find that the newer
fabrics always have a bit of a cheap feel for me and I do wonder
what the profit margin on £70 will be. Needless to say I’m
unlikely to part with my cash for this one.

Yeah. He recovered.
The bike was broken though.
The police attended and said that it was the cars fault (which
was pretty obvious) but, they didn't fine them or press charges.
Claiming from their insurance was a joke. Car insurance replaces
like with like. So, in their view, the shirt was only worth a
few quid. As was the bike and also the mobile phone that was in
his pocket, etc
But, I claimed on my household insurance - who were very, very
good

Much better than last year's one. Can't bring myself to pay £70
for a plastic t-shirt, especially with 3 new ones each season.
I'll buy it when it's reduced.
Would be nice if they went back to having the shirts lasting two
seasons, apart from BG shirt, but not likely to happen
