I'm being told that they'll be announced on Wednesday 17th July.
Anyone else heard this, or am I being wound up?

The Premiership Fixture List will be published at 8:30 tomorrow.
As usual, I'll make a guess at who will be our Big Game
opponents. I'm going to guess that it'll be...
Bristol.
My reckoning is as follows:
Newcastle & Sale are just too far away & wouldn't bring enough
support to justify them.
Sarries we already play at whichever stadium they hire for their
Spring game, be it Wembley, London Stadium, or Spurs. It doesn't
look good if the two London teams stitch up the two largest
regular season games between them.
Exeter, Bath, Saints, Gloucester & Tigers have all been recent
"guests" at either BG or BSKO.
Bristol we've never played at either BG or BSKO. They've got a
big enough fan base to bring a crowd, along with a relatively
straightward trip up the M4/ main London to SW rail route.

I believe that the PRL may put a slight "finger on the scales",
as they know that it's one of the times where the Premiership
has prime place in the TV scheduling & is usually shown on
Terrestrial TV so it makes sense to have a near full HQ shown on
the gogglebox.

I think it still the case that clubs can make 2 specific
requests. For example can we play Quins at home in March, and
say can we start with an away fixture.
