10 team league.....

Gonna be really weird from now on.....only 9 home games (7 in
reality for us) Plus a few European ones.....not really a
'season' is it anymore? Watching your team really is about
escaping from reality........ and yes, I know, many of us have a
lovely 'reality' but still.....only SEVEN games at the
Stoop!!!!!!!!?????

it depends on how they sort out the Prem Cup given that it's
going to involve 22 clubs if all the Championship teams are
involved. That'll add a few games as well...

7 league games at The Stoop is pretty awful. Add the two
european ones and it's 9 meaningful games at the stoop. Compare
that to 13/14 a few seasons ago, before BSKO, changes to euro
and demise of the 3 prem teams. And yet the cost of a season
ticket has more or less doubled in that time. Not great

I was really looking forward to watching the mighty Richmond
giving Quins what for at The Stoop.
But now the 'Mond has been relegated, c'est la vie.
However - on the plus side, there are 26 rounds of rugby in
National 1. All games are likely 3:00pm Saturday kick offs.
There are a number of good derby games. And - the fixture list
has been available for a few weeks already - so I can start to
plan weekends.

Agree
It will be my last season
I do not enjoy the games at HQ so do not attend
£595 for 9 games is too much for me
Do not count the domestic cup as a real competition and as I do
not live local will not make the effort to go
Also have pretty much lost interest as Sarries cheated for 10
yeas and in my view had little in way of sanction
I cannot see how that squad is with in cap
No interest in a league where the winners play by totally
different rules
Only renewed this season as a mate who is not in good health
goes and it is one of the few times he get out to socialise
Renewed before LI went otherwise would not have done so

Looking forward to the new competition, some new grounds to
visit, and should be some entertaining rugby

I suspect you will get to go to one new ground, the current plan
seems to be that the Premiership sides get three games at home,
and only two away.
Of the two away games, one is likely to be at a Premiership side
- or one of the two sides they create to replace Worcester,
Wasps and Irish and the other at a Championship side. With two
Championship sides coming to the Stoop.
Quins have played, Bedford, Pirates, Nottingham, Coventry,
Doncaster in the season in the old League One and Scottish when
they were in the Premiership.
Leaving Jersey, Ealing, Hartpury, Ampthill, Caldy and Cambridge
as the potential new clubs.
But there may have been pre-season fixtures against Jersey or
Ealing

Does any one know how BT Sport are going to handle the new
situation and also PRTV. Hopefully PRTV will now be covering
some of the Premiership Cup games in the new format?
