It's SA. Rugby is hugely important. Much like college sports in
the US.
I went to the Las Vegas 7s one year, which was held in a college
stadium. It would put many premiership grounds to shame.

8 college stadiums over 100k seating, it’s for want of a better
term a religion, especially in the SEC. Their training
facilities would put most clubs facilities to shame as well.

football coaches?

But remember that College Athletes are totally amateur. The NCAA
is very strict about this. It can lead to some awful states of
affairs. While this segment from Last Week Tonight focuses more
on the Basketball college athletes because of when it was going
out, it applies across all the disciplines:
