Niall Moore @elniallo What are Quins doing differently?
       Kieran Maguire @KieranMaguire Jun 20
They only have a positive figure due to a transaction with
another company controlled by the owners. Without that it would
       have been negative £6m

The article shows the author does not understand what he is
       talking about.
He quotes a TV income of £40m, but PRL distributes about £120m
and I do not believe two thirds of that comes from Gallagher. I
suspect he has forgotten to include the European contract.
He lists match day income as the most important, but actually it
is only about £5m per club.
Then comes the £2m from the RFU for releasing players and
       running academies.
And about £2m from shirt sponsors.
Leaving about £3m for the owner to pick up - though in some
years hat has been masked by an increased in the book value of
       the P-shares.
One of the reasons given for not increasing the size of the
league - before they decided on increasing it to 14 or
decreasing it to 10, was the fact that although clubs get two
more home games, they would lose more in central revenue than
       those would earn.

He quotes £40m as the yearly income from the Premiership which
is a bit over; it's currently £110m over 3 years.

Nice GIF from Joe at the end of the twatter discussion....
I wonder if the related company was blue sky leisure or one of
the others paying for use of the ground??
