Yeah, I saw they had the option so turned it on just for a

Wireless Access Protocol - a way of designing websites so they
could be quickly and easily accessed by mobile phones in the
dark ages before even 2G... Each link had a number (1-9) next to
it, so you could navigate using the keypad - well before
touchscreens!
If you click on the link in my earlier post, you'll see what I
mean. Very spartan, but perfectly functional.

I guess if you're not on WiFi and are worried about data size,
it saves a few bytes.

Blimey yes I remember having an old Nokia 6310i 😎 that
had that. It was rather pointless if I recall correctly,
shouldn't think it's necessary in this day and age!

One point DOK, there doesn't appear to be a "new" identifier for
each unread post in a thread. Am I missing something? I know the
thread itself shows differently in the main list when it's been
updated since my last visit, but within the thread the replies
all look the same?
