O/T Harlequins Ladies

I'm surprised by the size of the crowd. Far more than I was
expecting.
With these numbers, they should play all games here as games in
their own right.

It was a good crowd. Started to really provide support in the
final minutes when we were a bit under the cosh. Sarries has a
couple of kickable penalties which would have evened the score,
but they went for the big win and lost instead. Shame! But
supporters from both sides watched a good match where Saracens
looked like they had it sewn up in the second half only for
Harlequins to dig deep and haul them back. I enjoyed and and
will definitely go again given the chance (I usually can't stay
on for double header type games)

I would rather go and see this rather than stay for a double
header game.
I usually find that watching two games in a row is a bit much
But, I'm sure that if they can get these sort of crowds, then
the ladies game has a bright future

I'd actually prefer it if they were playing a double header that
the women's game were on first. More people would have a chance
to see it by chance (if they get there early to get some
food/drink at The Stoop, meet up with friends, etc. Have the
Ground openm at 11:30am. Have the women's game kick off at
12:30pm, so it's done by 2:30pm, then the men's game can kick
off at 4pm. That still gives folks plenty of time after the
men's game for a few drinks in the Kings bar, or to go off for
diner somewhere, etc.

Thing that concerns me more is - for how long are they going to
be called "Laydees"?
Or, to put it another way, for how much longer are some clubs
going to call their female teams "Wimmin"?
Sooner or later, we have to agree - across the board?
