Sadly, I think our Academy grown No 8s have the longevity of
drummers in Spinal Tap.

TRP this weekend reported that Bath are poised to sign Arundell
and Pearson. Quite the squad they've been able to build from the
embers of Wasps, Worcester and now probably Irish!

Bath really going all out, where has all their sudden money come
from? Their released players were on fairly insignificant
wages...
Said it a few times but Bath will easily be top 4 next season.

Bath have always raided the Irish academy, so makes sense they'd
keep doing so.

That assumes they all get on and gel quickly. That hasn’t always
been the case down at The Wreck. I can’t see how running around
on the ploughed field down there will suit Arundell’s style much
either.

Bath are definitely getting their act together, though, and far
more so than in previous "expensive squad less than the sum of
its parts" seasons. They look dangerous - though one has to
question how well they will be able to hold the squad together
for the long term, as I suspect they have picked up a fair
number of ex-Wasps/Worcester/(and probably) LI players at below
their market value
