suspension

> The RFU’s club finance viability working group met on Tuesday
night to consider the plan for an extension to the deadline
before making a recommendation to the board. The working group
will meet again on Wednesday evening with Irish’s suspension
from the Premiership expected if wages are not paid in full.

documentation from the prospective buyers on Tuesday, further

staff that they will be paid for the month of May. The group
will meet again this evening.”

Sorry, I'm completely overwhelmed by all the communications and
facts from the RFU & PRL about the 'Plan B' for when they don't
meet their weeks extension deadline.!!!

London Irish get suspended from the RFU. They only got the
extension because the players and staff asked for it; presumably
because they'd rather get paid 50% than nothing.

...and we shouldn't expect the RFU or PRL to share much more
than that.
M&A discussions are closely regulated and a lot of the
information shared is confidential and even legally protected
(because disclosing it could change the valuation of the
business, to the detriment of one side or the other). There will
be more informatiob being shared between the various parties but
we have no right or expectation to hear about it until the deal
is done.

Odd/disappointing that the RFU aren't publishing these sort of
statements themselves (unless I'm not able to find them on
englandrugby.com)
