We're going to have a lot of centres... Esterhuizen, Northmore,
Anyanwu, Beard, Bradley, Hyde, and Joseph is a bit of a logjam.
Not a bad player among them.

Agreed, but Joseph, Luke and Beard can all cover on the wing.
Andre can also fit in at fly-half if/when needed.

Which is very useful, but it's more that I'm a bit concerned for
Bradley and Hyde who really should be getting decent game time
at this stage.

Yes, but I am factoring in an England call-up for Luke in the
Spring. If he stays fit & plays to his obvious ability, I will
not be surprised. He is still only 26 too.

Hyde should be getting opportunities next season. It would not
surprise me to see him challenging Northmore and Beard for the
starting 13 shirt.
Bradley is still playing u20s so he can probably have another
year of London Scottish/ Premiership Rugby Cup.
I haven’t actually seen Joseph play that much. Is he a similar
player to his brother or a different playing style?

Will Joseph does have a similar style to Jonathan - but I'd say
he's got more flat line pace in addition to the step +
acceleration. His attacking game will work very nicely for us -
the question will be how quickly we can integrate him into our
defence - as we have, in recent seasons, really relied on 13 as
a key piece of our defensive system (we've pushed up and in
quickly and then relied on our outside backs' pace to react and
track across quickly if the oppo have gone wide). When March has
played we've defended better - but then he is just a brilliant
defensive player. Having said all that, our defence has been our
major flaw - so hopefully we're looking at putting in place a
more cohesive system for next season.
My worry for Hyde is that he can play 12, 13, 11 & 14 - he's got
the physicality for 12 but the pace to cover all the others. He
looks a really great young player but I don't know where his
best position is yet. I could see him getting runs out on the
wing as a taller option for cross-field kicks to compliment the
tracking wingers (Murley/Lynagh) on the other wing. I think wing
might be where he ends up picking up his early games at least,
but then when Andre eventually moves on who knows what our
centre configs will look like. Having Hyde and Lennox around as
our more physical options and then the rangey runners
(Northmore, Joseph, Beard) feels like we'll have balance.

My feeling with Hyde is that he should focus on 12. This is
admittedly based more on the composition of the squad as a whole
than on the limited amount I've seen of his play, but I'd agree
with TBQ that he would seem to have the physicality to play 12.
Given that, the fact that Quins don't have an established backup
to Andre, and the lack of decent EQP 12s, specialising there
would seem an astute career move. If he can develop into a
reliable gain line breaker and defender, then his pace becomes a
genuine point of difference.
I know that Northmore and Anyanwu can play 12 as well, but
Northmore has consistently looked better at 13, and Andre,
Anyanwu and Hyde as our options at 12 (with all of them able to
play other positions as well) gives us good options in the 23.
We've got a long list of 13s in Northmore, Joseph (probably),
Beard, Bradley and conceivably Murley in a pinch. Takes some of
the sting out of losing Nacho Ramjet.
