With those players on the roster, you can see why we exceeded
the salary cap in 2017/18

Fabulous. Some signings from decades ago, a marquee player from
NZ, a bloke signed from a relegated club, a couple of guys
nowhere near the first team at the sides they left, etc
Absolutely desperate and inane stuff. Just no attempt to engage
with the actual point. A classic of the type.

Marsile - a simple Yes or No question.
Do you think that Saracens exceeded the Salary Cap?

Desperate and inane are your watchwords when it comes to all
things Saracens coupled with a total lack of self-awareness when
it comes to viewing and assessing other squads. Particularly the
Quins one.
Alex Lewington joined Saracens from London Irish after they were
relegated. Jack Singleton joined Saracens from Worcester after
Worcester recruited him from the Saracens academy ffs! 😂
Jason Leonard was recruited by Quins from Saracens with the use
of illegal payments, benefits in kind and ghost jobs. But I
guess as Quins didn't get caught that makes it all ok. 🙄
I still find it hilarious that you think cap numbers equals
success. If Chris Robshaw with 66 caps had replaced Jackson Wray
with zero caps I don't think for a second that Saracens would
have been a better team. On the contrary, they'd have likely
lost some finals they won.

I reckon your question would have been better if it stopped
after the third word.

Can’t you just go and be as witless and meaningless on your own
clubs forum, I expect they have been missing you

Saracens outbid several teams including Tigers for Lewington,
and Irish weren't relegated when Saracens signed him. He was one
of the best players at the club.
Likewise, the blather about Singleton proves you still don't get
it. He was one of Worcs best players, getting England
recognition and Saracens signed him. Worcs were desperate to
keep him.
Saracens have a huge number of capped players, including a
number of Lions with a ton of caps, at a time when no other side
in the league can manage to pay for all the players they want to
keep despite not having anywhere near as many of those expensive
players. Saracens are still benefiting from their blatant
financial cheating for which they were relegated - despite that
punishment, their squad is still utterly unlike every other.
Having lots more top quality players than any other team goes a
long way to explaining their success. Which is why they went to
such lengths to cheat in order to put together such a collection
in the first place.
And hey, Robshaw's finals record is superb, especially his MOTM
in the first Premiership final win against Tigers. Just a
magnificent all action display where he essentially played 7 and
10 at the same time from the guy twice voted Premiership Player
of the Year. But something something Jackson Wray. Something
something whataboutery that shows you have no clue.
