Hold on a minute. Who were those four locks who he would have
known had left or were leaving when he was giving this thought
prior to us winning the league, and how would he have known
about them?

Hold my beer. Marsile, you appear to be a clueless bore.

Sarries were in the league the previous time Quins won it...but
yes, it is hard to see anyone else winning the league again for
all of the reasons outlined in this tedious thread. Your win
this season can be summed up in two words: "Cheats Prosper".
Anyway, hope the size of the chip on your shoulder doesn't cause
any permanent damage to your posture.

I've just come to the not unreasonable conclusion that it would
be difficult to overestimate just how much of an unpleasant,
arrogant knob you are.

Have you heard of sports agents?

Yeah - heard of them.
Have you heard of salary caps?

Brutally honest, perhaps blunt but the truth is that Tizard was
right to leave wasn't he. Three premiership finals in a row
already and capped.

Blatant avoidance of the difficult part of my post. Nice try.

Sure. Tizard is a very good prospect but he's not going to be
paid the combined salaries of Skelton, Kruis, Kpoku and Swinson
to replace them although I'm sure some will insist he was.

When was Tizard capped? Was this when he signed for a club he
wouldn't actually play for for another 18 months?
And no-one is saying that he was paid the combined salaries of
Skelton, Kruis, Kpoku, and Swinson, just that Quins couldn't
match Saracens offer while trying to legally keep hold of their
crop of players. Crucially, however, no-one could legally be
paying all those Saracens leavers' salaries either - it's not
that they left a big hole in the salary cap, Saracens were
relegated for massive and sustained financial doping and needed
to cut a significant number of players just to get "legal" in
the first place.
Unless you'd forgotten about that. Like the link to the podcast.
Still, we all feel Saracens' pain having to find another second
row to play alongside Maro Itoje (149 Saracens appearances, 67
England caps, 6 Lions caps), Nick Isiekwe (120 Saracens
appearances, 12 England caps), Callum Hunter-Hill (59 Saracens
appearances, +21 for other clubs), Andrew Kitchener (82 Worcs
appearances before he joined Saracens), plus Boon and McFarland
as the inexperienced options. Tiny violins all round.
