Also lost Wainwright mid season and Nkwocha from the academy.
Overall I'd say there was room. Casualties from LI won't be
expensive for obvious reasons but I too would be suprised if all
join.

Definitely not the most expensive, but very effective first team
players who would improve almost any team, so not bargain
basement either. And those Irish players have huge reputations,
anyone with cap space would be sniffing around (same for the
Bath-bound guys). Willis in particular is one of the best
uncapped forwards in the league.
Bello came from Zebre so probably not on a lot. Ethan Lewis,
hard to say.
Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

It's fascinating how narratives change so quickly...
Narrative 1 - want to show that Saracens are over the cap.
Method - exaggerate everything, experience, test status,
importance to team, importance to other teams, even number of
Saracens 'caps' they have.
Narrative 2 - want to show that players leaving Saracens won't
unlock much money in the cap to recruit new players.
Method - downplay everything, club they came from, importance to
the overall squad, ability of player.
It's very amusing.

Not sure on Bryan, wainwright went months ago and Nkwocha was
this week.. anyway..
2 things - hope this shows I'm not the same poster.. and the
other thing is and it's a genuine question, does the added value
of the coaching at saracens change people's perception of a
players value.
Tompkins - average in Wales not so at Saracens
McFarland - Honest now, who was watching him before and claiming
world greatness?
Hunter Hill - Scottish age group but bounced about a bit
Segun - fell off the radar at Saints I belive to be a real
talent.
Then the likes of Dan, world cup bolter played the 1st 5 rounds
at Ampthill
No doubt every club has their gems but let's face it, if he goes
Theo Dan will probably be the lowest paid player in the entire
England squad.

You forgot the important one:

Theo Dan is not the third best English hooker in the
Premiership. He's the second best.

You now seem to be picking arguments with a fellow Saracens
supporter.
Can't you just go and be a bore somewhere else?

Most amusing thing is Cheats fans on our board chatting with
each other. I realize they have low numbers but this is just
weird now.

It is a bit weird and like having 2 cuckoo's in the nest (one of
them literally being cuckoo).
