I personally think enough has been said about this issue. The
thread is entitled "BaaBaas v World XV". Can we talk about the
Rugby ? It is great that Stephan is playing. Both teams look
attractive & hopefully will provide exhilarating, entertaining
Rugby. I am going to the Quins women v DMP game across the road.
Does anyone know if the BaaBaa's game is on TV (so that I can
record it) & watch on Monday. Please let me know what channel(s)
it might be on. Thanks.

Flats mentioned that he is at the game with Channel 5 so I
assume they must have some TV coverage - even if just
highlights.

On Channel 5 apparently, coverage starts 1:30.

Amen to that. I saw a post online today from a Quins fan who was
a bit disappoined as he bought tickets a while back and now the
prices have dropped. Also, he says the initial ads showed a load
of star names but a number have now dropped out.
Are either of these points valid?

No doubt Folau is a great rugby player but he crossed a line
which he knew, or should have known, was going to get him in
trouble and broke a code of conduct HE signed up to, therefore I
have no sympathy towards him.
A guy I work with is very religious, he's a lovely guy but told
me some of his beliefs would get him in a lot of trouble if he
spoke them out loud. But, as he says, he can think and believe
what he wants as long as it doesn't affect anyone.
Most workplaces have a code of conduct, as well as the legal
framework of the Equality Act, so if my colleague broke that by
expressing his views publicly he would no doubt be disciplined
at the very least.
We still have free speech, you can say whatever you want, but
there are consequences as to what we say and that is how society
works whether you agree or not.

Can you see the inconsistency here?
Besides, I don't think anyone has ever suggested Folau wants or
deserves sympathy.

There's no inconsistency there - you just ignored this bit "but
there are consequences as to what we say". It didn't disappear
when you made the first bit bold.
