Mr Folau should stop and think how what he says as a well known
role model might affect other people. As for his rugby ability
that is not in question but his approach to life is a little
questionable. Maybe rugby needs a Balanced Approach to Life
School?

Maybe Israel Falau reflects certain cultural values that he hold
close. Denying his right to express these seems unfair when
other cultures might spout points of view unhindered that might
offend his constituency. Is it only a one way street when it
comes to the right to express an opinion?

So, you are suggesting that it is okay to express homophobic
views to his 117,000 followers.
Would you still say that it was okay if he were to express
racist views to his many followers?
I don't understand why homophobia is being defended.

What you don't understand is the difference between people
defending his views, and people defending his right to hold
those views.
I may not agree with everything that you say, but I have no
desire to stop you from saying anything.

knowing that what somebody is saying is harmful and just not

He is free to hold any views that he likes.
However, he is not free to express those views to over a hundred
thousand people without consequences.
He did express his views. He is experiencing the consequences of
expressing his views.
This seems fair enough to me. Or do you disagree?

Not sure if that was for me or Telephone Box Man. Anyway, in a
free speech society everyone has the right to reply to anything
anyone else says and quite rightly so. There are offside rules
though.

And at what point do you think he should be left alone to
continue with his career, without people going on about his
views, and deciding they should boo whilst he does his job?
