I imagine the Top14 rights are going to be far more attractive
in the UK soon!
Crowd yesterday highlighted what a cluster Prem rugby are making
of running things.

It makes financial sense if Harlequins allow his contract to be
bought out instead of him walking away when his contract ends. I
don’t believe a player can give their best for their current
team knowing they are round the corner from a huge pay check
from their new team. A n absolutely massive loss for Quins if
true but rugby is a short career and good luck to Marcus if it
is true.

Plot twist, the club knew all along, and he was got in as a
first team player. Benson/Edwards as back up, and that’s a nice
pay off for a year contract to not spend

Very true. However I hope the club invest the money back into
the squad. Losing Smith, Louw and Marchant in one season is
huge, plus Evans will need a fairly solid deputy. What SH 10s
would be available after the RWC?
